The demolition of 30 Smith Street is complete. We have accepted the Radovich Builders contract as
substantially complete as of July 23, 2004.
This funding budget was revised to reflect costs incurred relative to the demolition and painting. The
remaining funding will provide for the parking lot improvements as required, and has been included in the
2005 Comprehensive Agency Plan.
Capital Fund Program FFY 2003 $ 16,767.00
The Board of Commissioners have approved a budget for this funding at the May 5, 2004 Regular Meeting.
The work item to be complete under this funding will be the site work associated with the parking lot
improvements. This funding has not been obligated yet.
Capital Fund Program FFY 2004 $ 89,172
On August 18, 2004 HUD posted the 2004 funding on the Internet Site. I was required to download the
Seymour Housing Authority’s funding information, fill out the Annual Contributions Contract (ACC) and
submit it to HUD no later than September 8, 2004. This has been accomplished. A program budget has
been submitted with the ACC to provide funding for the Callahan House Parking improvements.
State Elderly Rental Rehab. $76,000.00
We gained DECD approval to contract with King Electric for the Smoke Alarm system upgrades at the
Norman Ray House. A contract was signed for the amount of $44,000. King Electric has delivered materials
to the Norman Ray House. Construction will begin shortly.
New England Building and Remodeling Co. has installed the Privet Hedges and other plantings as specified.
This completes their contract work and Change Order # 3.
